10-11:30: Read the descriptions below and choose which workshop you want to attend. New students must attend the New Concurrent Enrollment Student Orientation with Valerie Abaunza
• Room 133: Creating An Intentional Career From the Beginning-What Should I Do With My Life?: Amanda Gerrie
o Successful careers don't just happen. They are made. People who excel in what they do also LOVE what they do. This workshop will tap into your interests, skills, passions, and long-range lifestyle goals to help you create a plan for your education and career.

• Room 113: Placement Tests: What they say about me and my community: Jihan Ejan
o This interactive workshop will discuss the various factors that can either inhibit or encourage your college success. We will examine test data, community resources, and our personal environment to help us understand educational equity and how it might relate to you and your path to college.

• Room 111: Learning Styles: Jeanne Batallones, M.S. Counselor
o This workshop will help you explore various learning styles. You will identify which learning style works best for you, and how to use the information to maximize on your strengths and adjust to a variety of teaching styles. The workshop will be interactive and include group activities.

• Room 108: New Concurrent Enrollment Student Orientation: Valerie Abaunza
o For students new to Concurrent Enrollment at CCSF. This workshop will provide you with information to ensure your success as a new college student! We will end the workshop with a tour of the Ocean Campus led by CCSF Ambassadors.

11:30-Noon: Return to Science 100; share highlights of the workshops

Noon-1pm: Lunch from Roxies: please clean up after yourself; there are no custodians at work today!

1-2:30: Attend the workshop that aligns with your pathway or academy at school.
• Fire house Station Visit, Battalion 9, Station 15: this activity takes place only once and is limited to 30 students. Students in law or fire science have first option for this activity.
o The tour of the Fire House station at Ocean Ave will consist of the working areas of the fire station and a discussion of daily work routines in the firehouse, what types of calls
